Campus Living

Life on the Brookridge campus is designed to nurture body, mind, and spirit. Activities are as diverse as the residents themselves.

Planned daily and weekly activities include social events to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. Weekly schedules include craft opportunities such as ceramics, and needlework groups, as well as bridge games, trips and book clubs, ice cream socials, shopping, and day trips to local festivals and interesting historic and cultural sites. Many residents regularly volunteer with local service agencies or devote hours to visiting assisted living and nursing care residents on campus. Religious services are provided via the Brookridge chaplain.

Families are important at Brookridge. Children, grandchildren, and extended family come to the campus often to visit, share a meal, or join in the fun. On-campus lodging and meals for overnight guests can be arranged by speaking with the Active Adult Director.

Campus health and wellness activities are ongoing and range from jogging and biking along campus walking trails to water aerobics and organized exercise at our state-of-the-art water therapy and fitness center.
