Brookridge Unveils Spacious Single-Occupancy Suites for Enhanced Resident Comfort

Recent room renovations at Brookridge will ensure that rehab patients will have an even more positive experience during their stay.

Rooms on the sixth floor of the Skilled Nursing building used to house two people, but all dual-occupancy rooms have now been upgraded for only a single resident. The 12 rooms are now more spacious suites that offer more privacy than before.

“I think we’re raising the bar by giving them that larger room and more space,” said Jessica Nathan, Brookridge Healthcare Administrator.

In addition to benefitting rehab patients, the renovations have also made way for other patients to be moved to single-occupancy rooms. Now Medicaid residents will have their own rooms too.

“It gives them more dignity and allows them to just have their own personal space,” Jessica said.

She said the residents affected by the renovations have been thrilled with the change. These upgrades will enable patients to continue receiving the high-quality care they deserve as they recover after hospitalization – now in even more comfort.
