Skilled Nursing at Brookridge celebrates excellent survey results

Skilled Nursing at Brookridge recently celebrated passing its annual state survey with flying colors with a catered lunch served by leadership.

The survey, administered through the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation, is a thorough evaluation of all aspects of the assisted living department, from skilled nursing all the way through to dining. It took place in July and, despite leaving no stone unturned, evaluators could only find one small opportunity for enhancement.

The campus also performed excellently on the state’s life safety survey that happened in September.

Brookridge Administrator Jessica Nathan said she knows they are doing a good job, but it’s always good to have that knowledge validated by others.

“It’s nice for our good efforts to be recognized by the state,” she said.

Others on staff felt the same way. Artrice Martin, RN, said she was very pleased to have been recognized.

“I want to congratulate all the staff for the good that they did,” she said at the luncheon celebrating the survey results.

Brookridge celebrated with a catered lunch for staff October21. ThriveMore’s corporate leadership team came in person to serve the meal to Brookridge’s staff over lunchtime.

These good results are the work of the entire Brookridge healthcare team and their compassion and excellent care for the residents there.

“These surveys are not a reflection of only when they are here,” Jessica Nathan said. “They are also a reflection of what we do every day and our commitment to patient care.”
